| Chaffey College- Unprovoked Police Brutality and Arrests - 514 sec
On the Chaffey Community College campus, during one of our most peaceful days, the police arrest and brutalize Joey, James, and Jason after we all complied with school policy, during one of our most peaceful days of activism and free speech.
Partial transcript of difficult-to-hear audio:
-"He's choking him! He's choking him!"-Jason, as the camera is first pushed away from the door. You can hear him continuing to yell this for about a minute on both sides of the room, including the reception area.
-"I'm not resisting!"-James, after he is slammed down on the table, supposedly for resisting the officers.
The arrestees:
1st) Jason
2nd) James
3rd) Joey
The context:
-Listen to what Kortney, the camera person, is saying; she fills it all in.
-Toward the end of this video, you can see the main entrance is closed, because they locked down the entire building, closed all the blinds, blocking that side door window with paper, ALL DURING THEIR NORMAL HOURS OF OPERATION, with all three arresttees locked inside for between 20 minutes (Joey) to over an hour (James and Jason).
-These are the most talkative and brave members of our team, especially concerning injustice, even when under fire, as you can see at the beginning of the video. By the end of the video, you can see that they aren't saying anything. What did the police say/do to them to so drastically change their normal reactions?
-None of them were informed what they were being arrested, nor given prior warning to being arrested, but rather complying with everything the police asked of them (except surrendering our recording devices, one of which they stole and refused to give back).
The present situation:
-2 of the 3 arrestees are still in a detention center under felony charges. Joey, the one whom they stole the recording device from was brought up on lesser charges.
-When the normal police showed up, including San Bernardino Sheriffs and the Fontana police, both of which were informed of the assaults and offered to be shown the videos, talked with us a little, but then left without helping us. The campus police are free to continue doing as they please on the Chaffey College campus.

-Call, e-mail, or whatever else you can do to complain, comment, and question to any or all of these departments concerning this obstruction of justice, unprovoked brutality, and spontaneous arrests of peaceful, cooperative prolife activists/free speech advocates performed by the Chaffey College Campus Police on duty on Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 between 10am and 2:30pm in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

One of the reasons we don't have film before the arrests started was because of how sudden they were, and because many of the CLT team had just talked a student out of aborting her baby, and dialoging with other students (for example, the young man giving the oddly-timed commentary about this injustice next to the door while this was all happening is a Chaffey student who had been talking with us before this scene errupted) We'll keep you updated as this story progresses.
You don't see how much your rights in this country have really eroded away until you exercise them, and it is only by publicly exercising our rights that they remain secure.

192 members including drill,dance and tall flags (which were three separate units) this was the last year the Apple Valley High Marching band was under the direction of Robert Nygaard. Music includes 1812 Overture, School's Out, Jurrasic Park and Viento Español.
No percussion pit, the bells were marched with. and the entire show is in mirror image.

The Edwards & Chaffey Section 353 Shiraz is from the McLaren Vale in Australia. Along with Barossa Valley, the McLaren Vale is equally famous for their hot climate shiraz. On the nose, very ripe dark cherry with sweet orange peel plum but the alcohol stood out a little at 14.8%. The full body BIG Aussie style shiraz shows black cherry characters along with orange peel plum, spice, game, black pepper and dark chocolate. Fabulously concentrated. What's beautiful is the depth of the ripe fruit in the wine but without being pruney. The alcohol could hardly be detected as there is so much complexity to balance out. Drink now and can age further. (Rating 91-93 points) by Michael Lam of The Beverage Review.
