Fairfield Hills Hospital was closed down completley and what a waste of land, space, and needed mental hospital beds! Rowland the crook made a buck on that no doubt about it. Well, that was his thief intention, to sell that land for a 40 cut! Piece of shit went to the joint before he got the chance!

The Mall at Fairfield Commons is a mall located in Greene County. The mall was opened in 1993 and is located in the Dayton suburb of Beavercreek. The mall is two stories, featuring six anchor stores and a food court. The mall is located adjacent to Interstate 675. The mall is located near a golf course, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Wright State University and Nutter Center entertainment complex. The mall is located on North Fairfield Road (Veterans Memorial Highway), a main thoroughfare through Beavercreek.
The Mall at Fairfield Commons is owned by the Glichmer Realty Trust, the owners of the Dayton Mall. Recently, Beavercreek welcomed the arrival of another upscale mall known as The Greene. This decision has pushed for the development for a lifestyle center located near the property, however these plans appear to be on hold at the Fairfield Mall. The Mall of Fairfield Commons also spurred similarities such as the Polaris Fashion Place in Columbus, Ohio.

FAQ- The reason why I call this a Tour of Poor Dayton is because of the area's declining population, jobs, boarded homes, business closings and economic turmoil in Montgomery, Miami and Greene Counties. Fairfield couple bikes toward AIDS help
(08/09/09) FAIRFIELD - A newlywed Fairfield couple took the path less traveled to help children living with AIDS in Africa by riding their bicycles cross-country.
The couple, Julie and Brad Murray, set out from Washington on June 15 and spent 56 days on the road. They are determined to make a difference.
"We've been sponsoring a child in Africa for five years and now we have three children," Julie Murray says.
The Murrays worked in conjunction with World Vision to organize the cross-country bike ride, which raised close to $30,000 for children living in Lesotho, a country enclosed by South Africa that is plagued by HIV and AIDS.
"Despite our roughest, toughest day out on the road climbing hills, mountains, whatever, the lives in Lesotho - even on their best day - are so much more difficult than our worst day," Brad Murray says.
The Murrays rode about 80 miles a day, camping out on Indian reservations and sometimes sleeping on church floors. Notwithstanding the challenges, they say the thousands of miles on their bikes were rewarding.
"It's nice that we can bring hope to that community," Brad Murray says.

... After we reached the summit of Fairfield we looked towards St. Sunday Crag and Helvellyn before descending via Great Rigg and the western ridge into Ambleside.
FAIRFIELD HORSESHOE - n.b. we did it anti-clockwise as preferred by Wainwright in this case.
Ambleside - Low Pike - High Pike - Dove Crag - Hart Crag - Fairfield - Great Rigg - Heron Pike - Nab Scar - Ambleside (Grid ref. NY 377046).
This is perhaps the best known and most popular long walk from Ambleside, giving similar views northwards as the Red Screes walk. The normal route is clockwise, ascending steep Nab Scar first. A lot of people do it anti-clockwise, either way it's a great walk. There is in places no discernable footpath on the bare tops of Fairfield and Hart Crag and it is quite easy to lose your way in cloud, ending up anywhere from Grasmere to Patterdale. This is no reason not to do the walk - just take care and compass.
Total Distance 10.1 miles, Total Ascent 3100 feet, Equivalent Distance 16.4 miles
To see the view from the cave - Google "Cave above Rydal Water" I think I videoed the cave later in the week - when it rained!
