The radar and fire control equipment would have been in the centre with electrical feeds to the missile launchers in the points of the star. Demand is relentlessly rising. Our capacity is not keeping pace. The traditional solution to higher demand has been to invest more time. Unfortunately, time is finite, and most of us have no hours left to invest. Energy, however, can be systematically expanded --- and it can also be regularly renewed. To operate at our best, we need four energy sources: physical (quantity), emotional (quality), mental (focus), and the energy of the human spirit (purpose). This talk will focus on the role of energy in fueling sustainable high performance, and in motivating others.

"Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness" shows that by knowing how people think, we can design choice environments that make it easier for people to choose what is best for themselves, their families, and their society. Using colorful examples from the most important aspects of life, Thaler and Sunstein demonstrate how thoughtful "choice architecture" can be established to nudge us in beneficial directions without restricting freedom of choice.
Richard H. Thaler is the Ralph and Dorothy Keller Distinguished Service Professor of Behavioral Science and Economics and the director of the Center for Decision Research at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.

#3 Queen Tana in Africa. Source of the Blue Nile. She is seen here in the traditional egyptain crown with a snake on the forhead. Her Heart is the entrance way into the Blue Nile. Ancient Egyptians believed that the Heart was the soul of a persons life.
#4 Nefertiti of Egypt image with her cat is found in the left eye of a larger face of a female queen that can be seen while zooming in. Her identity is still unknown. Nefertitis image appears to be blind folded and is only 27 miles away from Bagdad California on the Historic Route 66.
#5 The Badlands Guardian was found in Canada. The image looks like an Ancient Myan ruler with his twin brother behind him that looks like hes yawning after waking from a deep sleep. In front of them is another face that appears to have a snake bursting out of his forhead. It was discovered that directly on the other side of the earth from here was found a small island out in the middle of nowhere that on that island i found about 3 pyramids that were some how built into the mountains.
#6 Face of an ancient Greek soldier. Found in the left eye of a giant Polar Bear that is seen as your zooming in.
#7 Face of a smiling woman looking towards you.
#8 Earths Face of the Extinct Dinosaurs. Pangea is when all the earths continents were connected together as ONE.

Standards, of many different kinds, are important to Google. The standards of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) are important to the Internet, and therefore important to Google. This talk will:
- present the Google standards intergrouplet, which does coordination of standards activities at Google
- give an introduction to the IETF and how the IETF works
- talk about the Email Address Internationalization effort, which recently released its core specifications
Speaker: Harald Alvestrand
Harald is a Norwegian TLM who has been with Google for two years. He was chair of the IETF from 2001 to 2005, and has been continuously active on Internet standards since 1991.

In late 1999 when Vladimir Putin was named Prime Minister, Russia was a budding democracy. Multiple parties campaigned for seats in the Duma, the nation's parliament. The media criticized the government freely. Eight years later as Putin completes his second term as president of Russia and announces his bid for prime minister, the country is under a repressive regime. Human rights abuses are widespread. The Kremlin is openly hostile to the West. Yet the United States and Europe have been slow to confront the new reality, in effect, helping Russia win what experts are now calling the New Cold War.
Edward Lucas has covered Eastern Europe for The Economist for over twenty years. He witnessed the end of the last Cold War, the parting of the Iron Curtain, and, as the Moscow bureau chief, covered Boris Yeltsin's reign and Vladimir Putin's rise to power. He lives in London, England.
